About this Micro-Specialization

Li-ion cells chemistry is very complex, predicting the behaviours of the cell is a very challenging task for engineers. Because the cell is subjected to various discharge profiles wrt the the driving conditions, road conditions, atmospheric conditions such as temperature & more. Depending on the usage of the cell, cell build-up internal resistance, and it's again subjected to the temperature. With all the complexity of the behaviours, predicting the cells SOC is a huge task, model-based simulations are the perfect approach to build the numerical model to analyse he predict the system behaviour wrt numerous conditions.It is also important to understand the cell behaviours not only with modeling approach, but also using the real time cell cyclers. In this course we will cover the detailed approach cell testing types, approach & methodology to test the li-ion cell using the industry grade cell cyclers. By the end of this course, learners will gain the complete clarity on cell behaviour, modeling approach, hands on modeling of Li-ion cell in ECM approach.

Applied Projects

Every Micro-Specialization includes a hands-on project which will help you gain experience, than the knowledge. In the specialisation, learners will build the Equivalent Circuit Based model for specific cell chemistry & cell data to predict the cell behaviour. Other half of the program, learners will build the BMS logics for protection & estimation for a cell.
