Speaker Profile

12 years of experience in Electric Vehicle Powertrain and Energy Storage Systems, with a Doctorate in the field of Electric Vehicles. Dr. Parag has vast experience in Model Based Development and Hardware development of EV Subsystems. Proficient in Power Electronic converters and control Algorithm development and adept at hardware implementation & testing. He is currently working as Head- Centre of Excellence in E-Mobility, School of Engineering & Technology, CHRIST (Deemed to be University). The Centre is a industry sponsored Centre which provides skilling and training to students/researchers and industry personnel. He is involved in a collaborative research project with Binghamton University, USA, on Electric Vehicle Powertrain regulation focusing on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems for road safety. His research team is also working on On-board converters for Electric Vehicles where novel converter topologies and Battery management systems.

As part of the M.Tech program, participants gain exclusive access to cutting-edge labs equipped with advanced Li-Ion Cell and Pack Testing Systems, Environmental Chambers, Motor and Powertrain Test Benches, and real-time Vehicle Testing Setups. The facility also includes industry-grade tools for BMS Software Development, Automotive CAN Communication, and Vehicle Control Unit Testing, ensuring exposure to EV Systems Hardware and Software aspects.
