Overview of courses

Welcome to the course offerings by Decibels on EV Technology. There are 12 programs offered in 3 levels, Level 1 courses will help the learner to gain the understandings of components & systems present in EV, Level 2 course will help the learner to build projects using Matlab-Simulink or Scilab-Xcos to gain detailed exposure to EV systems, components & controls And the Level 3 courses will help the learner to gain highly detailed understanding to meet the industry needs. 


Decibels also offers 4 Micro Specialisation (MS) course such as 1. MS in Cell & BMS Technology 2. MS in Powertrain Engineers with Thermals majors 3. MS in Powertrain Engineering with majors in Transmission, Motor & Regenerative energy and 4. MS in Motor controls, Power electronics & hardware design.

Level 1 course purpose

System understanding

Vehicle manufacturers like TESLA, TATA, Ather & Bajaj & any other manufacturers will take about 3+ years for EV development. They will have 1000+ engineers, specialised in specific domains to engineer, design, test & validate the vehicle components. If you like to start your career in EV sector, you should find the domain you will fit. The L1 course is to help you gain the understanding on EV systems & helping you to find your domain to explore career or preparation.

Understanding to engineering

Level 2 courses are mapped to the exact job profiles & domains in EV sector. Depending on your area of interest, UG/PG degree or work experience, you should choose an appropriate course which can help you progress towards gaining domain exposure. In level 2 courses, you will get to learn the detailed System requirements & targets, you will build the real time projects using the Model Based Design software’s, you will get to study the system behaviour, perform validation activities & gain the realisation of product engineering. “Learning in L2 courses are equivalent to gain 3 months of real time industry experience”

Engineering to Validation

Validation is the key to any product development. It takes the larger pie in terms of time, money & resources to ensure product would function in customer hands & out in market. Level 3 courses are to help you, gain that edge, exposure, experience & maturity for product engineering. We have developed the content, which goes beyond training. You will get to understand the real world testing, test cases, variation from theory to real world scenarios, collect data or refer the validated data to advance your work to match real world test cases. “Learning in L3 courses are equivalent to gain 6 to 12 months of real time industry experience”
