Foundation to Altair HyperMesh

Module 1

Module 1 of the boot camp will cover, an overview of the Automotive CAE Industry, the need for CAE in Automotive, introduction to Altair Hypermesh HyperMesh GUI, file management, and panels in Hypermesh, importing CAD files into Hypermesh, view controls & repairing the CAD for meshing. By the end of Module 1, the learner will be able to use Altair Hypermesh Software & know the basic functionality to start the meshing.

Build your first 2D meshing project

Module 2

Module 2 of the boot camp will be a hands-on & practical session using Altair Hypermesh software. During this module, the topics such as CAD geometry preparation, Midsurface Extraction, Topology Refinement, Elements in HyperMesh, Auto Meshing, Meshing Edition, Elements Quality, and additional Checks For 2D Meshing to meet the quality criteria are covered. By the end of Module 2, the learner will build his/her first 2D meshing project Hypermesh.

Build your first 3D meshing project

Module 3

Module 3 of the boot camp will be a hands-on & practical session using Altair Hypermesh software to learn 3D meshing in Altair Hypermesh. During this module, the topics such as Need & application of 3D meshing, Solid Geometries, Volume Tetra Meshing, Standard Tetra Meshing, Tetra Remeshing, 3D Quality Checklist, and additional Checks For 3D Meshing to meet the quality criteria are covered. By the end of Module 3, the learner will build his/her first 3D meshing project Hypermesh.
