Overview of Lab established at MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune

We established the Electric Vehicle Lab at MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune on 22nd July 2024 to serve as a center for students and researchers to delve into various dimensions of EV technology. This lab is equipped with advanced facilities such as a Single Cell BMS and Multi-Cell BMS, enabling learners to gain practical experience and hands-on training. The lab is designed to provide intermediate-level training, seamlessly connecting theoretical knowledge with real-world applications in the rapidly advancing electric vehicle sector.

The primary objective of the Electric Vehicle Lab is to enhance the expertise of both students and faculty in the field of electric vehicle technology. By offering practical exposure to cutting-edge tools and techniques, the lab promotes a deeper understanding of EV systems, focusing on battery management and system integration. This initiative not only enriches the academic curriculum but also equips students with the skills needed to excel in the EV industry, fostering innovation and technical excellence.

Outcomes of Electric Vehicle Lab

  • Enhanced understanding of battery management systems through hands-on training with Single Cell and Multi-Cell BMS.

  • Development of practical skills for diagnosing and optimizing EV battery systems.
