Electric Vehicle Center of Excellence at Rajarambapu Institute of Technology, Rajaramnagar
Decibels Electric Vehicle Center of Excellence at Rajarambapu Institute of Technology offers advanced EV tech training and research
The Electric Vehicle Center of Excellence (EV CoE) at Rajarambapu Institute of Technology (RIT), Rajaramnagar, Maharashtra, was successfully inaugurated on 26th February 2026, in collaboration with Decibels Lab. This initiative marks an important step toward strengthening industry-aligned education, practical learning, and skill development in electric mobility within the Department of Electrical Engineering.
Designed to provide focused exposure to electric propulsion systems, the Advanced EV Powertrain setup enables students and faculty to gain hands-on understanding of key vehicle subsystems and their integration. The lab bridges the gap between theoretical concepts and real-world EV engineering practices.
The facility is equipped with Advanced Electric Vehicle Powertrain Setup
This industry-grade platform enables learners to perform structured experiments and practical demonstrations related to:
Through this setup, students gain direct exposure to real EV hardware, enhancing their understanding of electric drivetrain architecture and operational principles.
To ensure effective utilization of the infrastructure, the Decibels Lab team conducted a 2-day intensive hands-on training program for faculty members and students of the Department of Electrical Engineering. The training focused on system operation, experiment execution, safety protocols, and practical applications aligned with industry practices.
The Advanced EV Powertrain Lab empowers RIT to offer practical, industry-relevant exposure in electric vehicle technology. The facility supports:
Through this collaboration, Rajarambapu Institute of Technology strengthens its commitment to preparing students for careers in EV system design, testing, validation, and electric mobility engineering.
Develop a strong practical understanding of electric vehicle powertrain architecture and subsystem integration.
