Course Overview
The In-Vehicle Network Communication - ACESS Championship Program, delivered for Tata Motors at Decibels Lab's COE, Bengaluru, is an intensive four-day training designed to provide participants with a thorough understanding of Controller Area Network (CAN) protocols and their applications in electric vehicles (EVs). The program covers the fundamentals of CAN communication, hardware setup, message decoding, and DBC file creation, progressing to advanced topics like MCU-to-MCU communication, battery management system (BMS) data reading, and EVSE (charger) authentication and control. With hands-on experiments and real-world case studies, participants gain practical skills in utilizing CAN analyser tools, decoding data, and creating CAN matrix documents.
