Overview of Lab established at Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT)

We established the Electric Vehicle Lab at Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT) on 10th August 2023 to serve as a hub for students and researchers to explore various aspects of EV technology. This lab includes state-of-the-art facilities such as a Cell Testing Machine and a Battery Pack Manufacturing Kit, providing students with hands-on learning and practical experience. The lab is designed to offer intermediate-level training, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in the rapidly evolving field of electric vehicles.

The primary goal of the Electric Vehicle Lab is to enhance the knowledge and skills of both students and faculty in the domain of electric vehicle technology. By providing hands-on exposure to cutting-edge equipment and methodologies, the lab aims to foster a deeper understanding of EV systems and components. This initiative not only supports the academic curriculum but also prepares students for future careers in the electric vehicle industry, promoting innovation and technical proficiency.

Outcomes of EV COE

  • Students and faculty gain hands-on experience with advanced EV technologies.

  • The lab enables innovative research projects in the electric vehicle domain.

  • Students receive industry-relevant training, improving their job readiness.

  • Practical experience complements academic learning, enriching education in EV technology.
