Decibels Lab

We established the Electric Vehicle Lab at BGS Institute of Technology on 12th October 2023, which serves as a hub for students and researchers to explore various aspects of EV technology. This lab includes facilities such as 

1. Cell Testing & Characterisation Lab

2. EV 2W Vehicle Testing & Data Acquisition Lab

3. EV Powertrain Demonstration Lab

4. EV Powertrain Sizing 1-D Modelling Lab

5. Equivalent Circuit-Based Li-ion Cell Modelling Lab 

These state-of-the-art facilities provide students with invaluable hands-on learning opportunities and practical experience, bridging the gap between classroom theory and real-world applications in the electric vehicle sector.

The lab is classified at an intermediate level and aims to enhance the knowledge of students and faculty by providing hands-on exposure to the domain of electric vehicle technology. By offering these practical learning opportunities, the lab fosters an environment of innovation and skill development, preparing future engineers for the rapidly evolving field of electric vehicles.
