About the host

Decibels Lab Pvt Ltd is a Government of India recognized start-up in EV & professional skill development sector. Decibels are contributing to EV sector growth in India & globally with the open-source EV projects and capacity building with training for needs in the EV sector. From 2019 April, Decibels has trained over 20,000+ participants from Industry, academia & research. We are proud to help many engineers at organizations to Upskill & migrate from IC technology to EV technology. 

About the competition

The Online PPT competition on Electric Vehicle Technology is hosted by Decibels Lab Pvt Ltd for enthusiasts in the EV sector. The intention of the competition is to create technology awareness on Electric vehicles & to set the stage for many aspiring engineers to explore careers in the EV sector. Every winner gets 10,000 INR worth EV courses from Decibels lab, a chance to get hired, a chance to visit Decibels EV lab center & will be awarded a Certificate of participation. So, gear up. This is YOUR moment, prove your exposure to EV technology!

Steps to taking part in this competition

1. Register as an individual or as a team of two with the entry fee of 99/- INR 
2. Choose one among 5 themes hosted under this competition section 
3. Follow the guidelines to create a PPT & submit the video presentation
4. We will announce a shortlisted participant list based on the uploaded PPT & Video Presentation 
5. We will upload the shortlisted videos on our Youtube channel to take the Social voting  
6. Shortlisted participants will present Live over Zoom on behalf of the judges
7. Winners will be announced 

Competition guidelines

1. Entries are allowed for individual or team of maximum of 2
2. No age/profession restrictions for entries
3. 1 winner will be selected for each theme
4. Participant/s can register & participate in one theme only
5. Emphasize to use of analytical data, logical reasoning, research information, justifications & realistic solutions in creating
6. The competition is hosted in two rounds 
7. All activities carry equal weightage from an evaluation point of view 
8. It is mandatory to complete all activities to be considered for evaluation
9. Each participant is advised to have a computer with access to high-speed internet for round 2
10. Other detailed rules pertaining to each activity will be shared before 06^th Aug 2021

Submission details & format: 

Round 1 

1. PPT - 12 Slides maximum (PPT format will be provided)
2. Video Presentation - 5 minutes maximum
3. A recent photograph of the participants
4. LinkedIn profile of participants
5. Instagram profile of participants

Round 2 (Only for shortlisted participants)

1. Live session delivery via Zoom app
2. Social voting
