Product Overview

Get hands-on with real EV charging technology. Our lab features a 30 kW DC fast charger and a 7.2 kW AC slow charger, letting you explore both ends of the charging spectrum in one setup. Measure charging curves, study communication protocols, and see how power electronics, battery management, and grid interaction work together. Whether you are training technicians, teaching engineering students, or validating charging designs, this lab gives you practical experience with equipment used in the field.

Key Experiments You Can Perform

  • Charging Curve Analysis (DC Fast Charging)

Connect a test battery or load and record voltage, current, and power across the full charge cycle. Identify the constant-current and constant-voltage phases, and see how temperature and state of charge affect charging speed.

  • AC vs. DC Charging Comparison

Charge the same load from both the 7.2 kW AC and 30 kW DC units. Compare charge time, energy losses, and efficiency to understand why DC is faster and where the trade-offs lie.
