The 6-day Battery & Battery Management System - ACESS Championship program delivers comprehensive insights into battery technologies and management systems for electric vehicles. The curriculum begins with the fundamentals of cell construction, chemistries, safety, and testing, progressing to advanced topics like battery pack design, manufacturing, and integration. Participants explore BMS functionality, hardware, software diagnostics, and calibration techniques, supplemented by practical hands-on sessions on cell testing, pack arrangements, and BMS hardware teardown. The program concludes with key insights into diagnostics, standards, and developing a Battery Pack Statement of Requirements (SOR), equipping learners with industry-relevant knowledge and skills.
